This information was also disseminated to JW's worldwide through Watchtower publications and magazines over the proceeding 7 years. This information caused true believing Jehovah's Witnesses to sell their homes, belongings, and businesses, donating mass amounts of money to the WTBTS to "further the preaching work" in order to save as many lives as possible from the impending doom.
